One request, one mover

Portland Metro Moving is a referral service. We do not own trucks or employ a crew. What we do is take the move you describe and put it in front of one independent moving company that covers your part of the metro. That company does the work, quotes the price, and answers for the day.
Why it works this way
Search for movers around here and most of what comes back wants to sell your phone number. This site exists to do the opposite: your details reach a single mover, and no one else ever sees them.
- The company that calls is the company that does the work
- You pay them directly, on whatever terms you agree on together
- The request and the callback cost you nothing
What we ask of the movers
A mover has to hold an ODOT certificate of authority to carry household goods inside Oregon, carry insurance that actually covers the truck and the crew, and have a track record of returning calls. If nobody reliable covers your town, the honest answer is no referral, not a blind one.
Coverage
The whole metro: Portland's neighborhoods on both sides of the river, the Washington County cities west of the hills, the Clackamas towns to the south, east county out to Sandy, and the small towns and farm parcels at the edges. The towns on the form are the real map.
