Terms of Use
The service
Portland Metro Moving passes your request to one independent moving company covering your town. We don't move households, quote prices, supply crews, or promise outcomes. The referral is the entire offering.
By using the form you agree that
- The request is genuine. A real move at a real address. False or abusive submissions get filtered and blocked.
- Your contract is with the mover. Price, schedule, packing, handling, damage claims, and any dispute are between you and the company you hire. Portland Metro Moving is not party to that agreement.
- The referral is free. You owe nothing for the request or the callback. Payment happens directly with the mover you choose.
Hiring a mover
Oregon requires any company carrying household goods between two points in the state to hold an ODOT certificate of authority, and the state publishes the authorized movers list publicly. Ask for the company's certificate number and check it. Certified movers are also required to give you the state's General Information Bulletin for moving household goods, and to write your estimate only after looking at what is being moved.
Liability
We make the introduction, not the move. Workmanship, damage, delays, and billing all belong to the company you hire.
Changes
Terms can be updated; the current version posts here.
