The big old houses

The street

The gridded bungalow districts, Alberta, Beaumont-Wilshire, Woodlawn, Concordia, run narrow streets with parking both sides. A reserved curb spot helps where the street allows it; elsewhere the carry gets longer and the mover plans it.

The outer neighborhoods

Parkrose, Argay, Wilkes, Madison South, and Roseway are different work: mid-century ranches, driveways that actually fit a truck, and fewer access problems. The trade is distance, since these are the city's far edges.
